Delugs was founded in 2018 and based in Singapore. Starting with a small, curated collection of handcrafted leather straps, made using the highest quality of leather that we knew (Shell Cordovan, Chromexcel, Buttero, Epsom), we quickly expanded over the next few years as more people began to buy, use and experience what a quality leather strap truly felt like. Word quickly spread in chat groups, communities and on social media about Delugs straps.
With a wide variety of ready stock straps in a range of leather types, widths and sizes, we removed the typical waiting time of weeks or months that typically came with handcrafted leather straps. We brought in new range of leather that the larger watch community had never been exposed to - Babele, Pueblo, Waxy, Saffiano, Alcantara. We introduced watch-specific straps that required complicated integration with the case, such as the Vacheron Constantin Overseas and Cartier Santos de Cartier. With a strong emphasis on the strap, we made the experience of owning and wearing a watch much more enjoyable.
We took the same detailed-oriented approach in developing our line of watch storage and watch accessories. We looked at what was available in the market, and thought of how we could make something better. We addressed every requirements that a collector might need in a case, fussing over the details that most normally wouldn’t think of.
Beyond the products, we also aspire to provide an online shopping experience that was enjoyable and fun. Through our Instagram page, we showed people how straps could elevate the look of a watch, educated people about leathercrafting and offered a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes in running a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. We offer lifetime warranty on our products with a generous returns policy. We ship worldwide via courier to ensure that customers get their straps within a week or less. We created our Custom Strap Builder to allow you to easily place your custom strap order online, and visualise how it would look. We launched our Strap Finder to allow customers to visualize their watch with our straps, from the comfort of their home. We aspire to build a community of watch enthusiasts that appreciates watches, accessories and the entire watch ecosystem. We hope that you’ll join us on this journey!
